• Hydra Aqua Dechlorinator is an essential additive to neutralize chlorine and chloramines when using tap water to fill ponds etc containing aquatic life.
• All water authorities use chlorine and chloramines to disinfect water supplies.
• Chlorine and chloramines are highly toxic to fish at less than 0.05 mg/L.Chlorine. Chloramines cause gill damage which results in gill lesions. These lesions will thicken the gill filaments leaving the fish unable to utilize oxygen, and also releases carbon dioxide resulting in fish death.
• Use when initially filling pond with tap water.
• When topping up evaporation losses and when carrying out a partial water change.
• Hydra Aqua Dechlorinator is completely harmless to all pond life, filters and other animal wild life.
  

Usage Rates

• For 1-2 ppm chlorine add the following amounts of Hydra Aqua Dechlorinator.
• 1 oz per 350 gallons of tap water.
• 34 oz per 12,000 gallons of tap water.
